On Wednesday, May 13, the Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to direct the City Attorney, along with other city agencies, to draft a revision to the Living Wage Ordinance that would increase the amount workers receive for health care to enable them to get quality family health care.

On Wednesday, April 29, workers and members of the Reaching Higher for Healthcare Coalition participated in a march and rally at LAX, calling on the City of Los Angeles to set higher standards for airport employers to ensure family health care for all airport workers.
